The Dharma BookI recently completed my eleventh SunDance Ceremony. This is a big event that I attend every June here in Arizona that sets my intent for the entire year. It is a very expansive ceremony with three days of praying and fasting while being supported with drumming and singing.  This is a “Dreamers Sundance” and does not include the tradition of piercing. The visions and insights that come during this ceremony are strongly connected to Spirit with a deep commitment to follow through. Even the simplest prayers can manifest throughout the year following this ceremony. I return to that ceremony every June to recommit to the next steps of my personal evolution. As an Integrated Coach, there is a strong theme that is present in my work with my clients. Just as I’m personally evolving, so is the collective of souls out in the world. There is a movement happening now that is very clear and I know how to work with individuals to move through the challenges of personal growth and evolution on an individual basis. If you believe in re-incarnation then you would know that there are many, many lifetimes where we as a “Spiritual Being” come into physical form as a person to have experiences that we can grow from over a lifetime.   The Dharma Book For many of our lifetimes there was a mandatory curriculum that the lessons would come over and over until we mastered the lesson. You hear folks say that “Karma will come back to you”. This method of learning from the same lessons over and over until we “get it” is how we learn over time to evolve from the dark to the light. It is our nature to grow to the light. It takes each person’s own journey to find their way to the light. Then as each Karmic lesson is completed, the next one comes and the process continues over and over. After so many lifetimes there is an actual end to the mandatory curriculum. Finally, you have gone through the entire “Karma book” from cover to cover. The next phase of evolution is called Dharma. This curriculum is different in that you actually get to choose your lessons to evolve and grow from. Similar to finishing high school and going on to college where you choose a major and follow that stream of lessons. So there is a stronger emphasis on free will and the ability to choose how you want to evolve and grow through life. We are in an interesting time in our evolution in that many people have completed their Karma cycles and now have the opportunity to move into the new track called Dharma. The rules of engagement are different and most folks are feeling that life is different but they really don’t know how the rules of the game have changed. So most folks will still apply their Karmic way or Karmic patterns to the new paradigm not knowing that they are actually evolving into a new way of being. So a person can feel really stuck when their old ways of doing things are no longer effective yet they don’t know that they need to shift their perspective and engage in life with a clear intent on where they want to go. Determining what you want to manifest in your life or how you want to create a new way of being in life is what Dharma is all about; free will, choice, assuming responsibility for your own actions and creating a platform from which to shine with your natural gifts. This is the Dharma book. If yours is not open yet, you can fake it till you make it and if your Dharma book is open it’s time to shift out of the old paradigm into new opportunities.
