Coming to your bookstore soon! Revelations from a Stress Junkie: Finding Courage at the Edge of Your Comfort Zone.

Supporting my coaching clients for so many years and offering my “Stress Mastery” workshops to the community and workplaces has been very fulfilling which is why I always say that Stress is an inspiring subject. Maybe because I am right there with you in the nitty gritty of your stress and resistance. I always see how stress and resistance dovetail together. I also get to witness the resilience of your feisty human spirit that, like the butterfly, is working to free your wings from your cocoon, so you can take flight.

In 2017 I attended a writing workshop in Hawaii and wrote the first draft of my book in about three days, as promised by the retreat organizer. But it has taken until 2023 to get the book into your hands and you will be the lucky recipients for the deeper dive to see behind the veil of your stress. I know this because writing this book took me so much deeper into my own stress.

I want to acknowledge Kelly McGonigal, Ph.D., a health psychologist, who wrote the book that inspired my workshops and fertilized the birth of my Stress Mastery programs.  Her book called, The Upside of Stress: Why Stress is Good for You, and How to Get Good at it, gave me the new science “make-over” for stress that correlated with what I understood metaphysically.

I recognized the mind-body-spirit of my personal healing journey with Stress, and learned it is possible to shift your attitude and approach from stress as a bad thing to see that our response to stress is often what shows up when we are either in the uncontrollable or the unknown. This is the mystery of life of course because none of us have a crystal ball to see the outcome of our priorities, choices, and decisions and how to consistently choose the high road when life happens. It’s so much easier to slip into our well-worn comfort zone.

I offer my Dharma Design Session, a ninety-minute one-on-one workshop format where I explore your patterns with you. We explore the patterns that impact your health and happiness to see where you open the door to your stress sabotage and most importantly how you can close the door to re-wire your stress response to be more resilient and live a HAPPIER life.

Bringing in Spirit, we can explore your animal guides (which is so illuminating) and offer you a glimpse of your personal evolutionary cycles for a more Dharmic approach to life.
