Standing at the Trailhead; What Supports Individualized Transitions

Standing at the Trailhead

The most amazing thing to me is the diversity of my practice. I have coached a variety of individuals who are as unique as snowflakes. Yet the coaching process works as we partner together to explore vision and values on a very individualized basis. My strongest learning so far as I fine-tune my coaching skills is to “coach the person not the problem.” This was further validated in a recent meeting I had with an icon within Holistic Medicine, Dr. Gladys McGarey.  She shared with me that the key to transformation and healing is to connect to the client’s inner physician.  That makes so much sense to me as we really know what will bring us back into balance and harmony if we pause to reflect on what brings us peace and refuels our tank with energy. As a coach it is my job to guide you to spiral deep into your inner matrix to look to see what is really important to you. What plan will work for you to get closer to that place of inner peace and living more fully towards your vision.  I encourage my clients to take a breath as they pause to check inside and connect with their inner physician for guidance.  We really heal our selves but as coach it is my job to guide you to find your own determination to make supportive changes that energize and propel you forward towards your target.

Standing at the Trailhead

I use the analogy of standing at a trailhead and looking at two paths. One is well traveled with a defined path. This is the old way of doing things that is no longer taking you where you want to go. The other is a new path, still faint and yet to be discovered and explored.  Which path are you looking for? How will you navigate a new route to get to your destination? I can help you to navigate.

I can work with anyone on a focus from the Wheel of Health.  Some of the areas we work on are physical environment, communication in relationships, movement, rest and exercise, nutrition, personal and professional development, spirituality, mind-body-connection and mindfulness. Finding harmony and health is not a linear process and as a coach I can move with you wherever you want to go.
