The spiritual path that I’m apprenticed to has been an intense course of study for me personally during the last 10 years. It combines a stream of shared knowledge downloaded by my most inspirational teachers passed on from a very ancient lineage of Elders. There is also a component of ceremonial experiences to embody the teachings. The two together have provided amazing transformation for me personally with profound healing and personal growth opportunities.
The rattle snake is such a strong symbol to our path and in the early days the lineage was called “The Rattle Snake School.” Snakes are very magical creatures because they symbolize sorcery. (Sorcery: using the laws of nature to create change.) They regularly shed their skin and “transform” into new. Anytime you choose to transform something in your life you are aligning with snake medicine or magic to shed your skin into something new. Change can be quite magical when you really look at it step by step of how change happens.
If you ever see a snake, come across a picture or design with a snake or dream of a snake, that is your higher self giving you a sign that it is time to transform something in your life or a validation that you are transforming something in your life.
Don’t fear the snake, invite him into your circle!
