Breath of LifeI nearly died recently in a head on car accident on the highway in Northern Arizona. I lived because in the moment that a car pulled out in front of me, from a chain of cars, I took a breath, I felt that breath travel down my chakra line and settled into my womb space. I stopped in time as I was fully present and in my body. I gripped the wheel and kept my foot on the gas pedal. There was no time to break, and no place to swerve. I focused on the gap between the oncoming car and the ledge at the shoulder of my lane. Too far right and I would roll off the road, too far left and I would have hit the car at 72 mph. I missed that car by inches and if we had collided we would have involved the other cars in the pack as well. I was able to stop time in that moment to take the right action because I was fully present and in my core; about 3 finger breadths below my naval. The inhale of my breath was the initiation to this connection to presence in my body so that I could take the right action in a moment of time.

 

This is why the work I embody is so powerful. Being present and in your core can literally save your life. When you practice being present in your body on a daily basis, it is your “default” way of being so you can be in your power no matter what comes up.
