How we take responsibility for our actions and inactions is our superpower. One of the key measures to mitigate stress in our day-to-day life is to recognize opportunities when we can take responsibility for our actions, our inactions, our thoughts, and how we interact with others.
We can choose how and when to apply our physical strengths, skills, and abilities so we can step into pure action in the act of taking responsibility. The discernment to recognize what is not ours to do, where the responsibility is not within our control, is also important.
To maintain balanced health, we need to take responsibility for our lifestyle choices in all aspects of day-to-day living, including our diet, moving the body, sleep, and mastering our stress.
I have witnessed the secret for healing anything in our physical world; a health problem, a relationship, a money issue, a communication challenge comes down to how we take responsibility to create a solution or a resolution. What steps can we take? What do I need to change? Where do I need to clean up or clear up?
To truly restore health when dealing with a physical ailment, we won’t get back into the healing spectrum until we learn to take responsibility for our health choices and actions. Just taking the medicine alone is not what brings healing; it’s all the other things we do to change our life and lifestyle to bring us back into balance.
The key to restoring our health is all the ways we take responsibility to address our physical symptoms and make the changes necessary to heal our mind-body-spirit. The key to accessing our responsibility-superpower to focus on our healing is that the motivation and desire to make these changes come from within, not from our doctor, our partner, our family, and our social media influencers. Self-motivation to explore what’s in it for me to make this change? What is important to take these steps?
Taking responsibility to heal something or change a challenging situation in our personal world is possible when we step out of blaming someone else, making excuses for our lack of action, or complacency, ignoring the problem, hoping it will eventually all go away.
Taking responsibility is not always comfortable or appealing AND we do empower ourselves when we step up and lean into the opportunity to find a solution or take the lead in our own life process to make a change or follow through on a challenging situation.
