Create Resiliency to Reduce Stress

We are all so busy. Our to-do list keeps us spread thin. If this is your reality what would motivate you to prioritize your Self higher on your list to prevent burnout and stress related health problems? If you think of your energy resources as your checking account, every time you give your energy to others you are spending from your checking account. If you keep spending without refueling your energy, then you will deplete your checking account and draw from your savings account. Over time you will bankrupt your internal energy resources and wipe yourself out. Every time you engage in activities that bring pleasure, fun and relaxation you are refueling your bank account. You are taking in fuel to restore your energy bank. Prioritizing what really fuels your tank is key to creating resiliency in a busy life. If you explore the values of what really matters to you, you will tap into what can motivate you to shift your priorities to refuel your Self.
